Trailer Training

Having difficulty loading your horse? Does your horse refuse to load or react fearfully when in the trailer? We can help you work on anxiety associated with horse trailers and allow for both you and your horse to enjoy a better and safer hauling experience. Teach your horse to willingly load, stop the high pressure push-pull techniques to coerce your horse into the trailer. Using reward based methods, Shelby will teach your horse to start viewing the trailer as a positive experience.

Starting at $125 per session if you are able to provide your own trailer (must be hitched up to your truck and located in a safe area to work with a horse).

Alternative rates:

$175/session- We bring truck to hitch to trailer located on your property. Must fit 2 5/16th ball hitch or have your own hitch we can use. Note: Shelby’s truck cannot accommodate gooseneck trailers. Bumper pulls only.

Starting at $325/session- We our bring truck and trailer to your property to work with your horse. Additional costs for travel may apply depending on location. Discounts available if working with multiple horses in the same day.

If you don’t own your own trailer, full training board is the recommended option for working on trailering using our trailer.
