Registered with the Jockey Club as “Rox Star Farm Boy” Sammy is a 16.1hh 4 year old unraced Thoroughbred gelding. He trained lightly at the racetrack last year but is such a quiet and slow dude that he just couldn’t make it as a racehorse, if you meet him and see his personality, you’ll understand! Sammy has had the winter off and is only just starting back into a training program now. He has great manners and a lovely, sweet and quiet demeanour. Sam would be a great choice for a confident junior or amateur rider who is looking for an easygoing project to bring along. He is green and does have a big stride so may be intimidating to nervous riders but he definitely has what it takes to become an extremely solid citizen and packer once he learns the ropes of his new career.
You cannot easily find a brain like this, he is extremely quiet especially for a green, off the track Thoroughbred. He would make an excellent hunter prospect but could go in any direction. Sound with clean legs, ready to start his new career and start getting fit again.
