Lila is an 11y/o 15.3hh grade Thoroughbred mare. She was a pasture pet for her whole life so has only recently been halter broke and started under saddle after her owner passed away and she came to us to be prepped to find a new home. She has been an exceptionally sweet and easy horse to have around. She is very quiet, gentle and has learned fast with virtually no spook at all. She has the makings to be an exceptional kids and family horse with more experience.
Lila is an excellent mover with a big, beautiful trot. She has great feet and has been barefoot her whole life, only recently getting front shoes on for trail riding purposes. She was brave her first time through the jump chute, also her first time seeing jumps or poles of any sort, and shows naturally correct form and a lot of scope. She would make an excellent prospect for any number of directions including most sport horse disciplines like dressage, jumping, the Hunter ring or eventing. She would also be perfectly happy as a trail horse and all around / pleasure riding horse and definitely has the temperament for it.
We are currently in the process of starting her under saddle and she is being fantastic. Her price will increase with training, particularly once she is fully saddle broke and started on trail riding but we would currently let her go to the right home with the experience to finish her for $4,000 CAD // $3,300 USD negotiable. Good home most important, we don’t want her to be a quick flip resale project.
