Registered with the Jockey Club as “Killer Carlson”, Carl is a 12 year old 16.2hh, big bodied Thoroughbred gelding. Carl had a short lived racing career back in the day and since then has truly become the jack of all trades. He has done parades, trail riding, racetrack ponying, rodeos as well as being well schooled on the flat and having some jumping experience. Carl is very sweet and easy to have around. He has great ground manners and is a pleasure to ride. He isn’t a completely push button ride, so does require a confident rider. Carl would be an excellent option for someone looking for a trail horse and/or all arounder.
Carl’s only vice is that he has an ugly hock from an old injury several years back. His hock has been how it is for 5+ years with no issues and he has not required maintenance for it.
